LEGISLATION, ECOLOGICAL ORDERING AND REGULATION
An increasing preoccupation in all the planet by the processes of environmental deterioration exists and to prevent and to mitigate the disastrous effects that this deterioration is causing globally. As an answer to the restlessness sectors of the population, in Mexico, like in almost all the countries, environmental laws and norms have been generated whose application is more and more strict and necessary.
On the other hand, a noticeable and increasing preference between the users and consumers exists at the moment, by the projects, services and products that are developed in harmonious integration with the processes of nature, helps the conservation and contribute with environmental benefits.
In Mexico, the environmental regulation is determined by Ley General del Equilibrio Ecológico y la Protección al Ambiente (LGEEPA), and its regulation, which establishes the environmental regulations to which any development or activity in our country must be become attached.
Combined to this, an increasing surface of the national territory is subject to Programs of Ecological Ordering of the Territory or to Plans of state or municipal Development, established in each state or region, that define the modalities of ground use and the allowed densities and the ecological criteria for each specific estate; complementing itself in addition with diverse Laws, Norms, Regulations and Programs that allow a ordered and sustainable development, and they protect the natural resources in general.
EcoRed is an organization specialized in strategies of businesses and integral services of tutorial and environmental management, that allow to design and to execute industrial, urban, tourist, recreational, sport and residential projects successfully, in fulfillment of the legislation and environmental regulation and of ground use, guaranteeing the conservation and sustainable use of the natural resources of its zone of influence, and including technical solutions for the prevention, mitigation and compensation of environmental impacts, from the first stages of design, and during the construction and operation for the rest of the life’s project.
The Environmental Legislation is available in Secretaría del Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (SEMARNAT) web site: www.semarnat.gob.mx and the bureaus of ecology and environment for each of the Mexican republic state.
Environmental architecture
Nowadays the environmental care and the sustainable use of the natural resources are fundamental components in the new projects, where obtained beautiful, efficient and comfortable constructions in harmony with the nature. It is due to these characteristics that the present architecture has been opened to the development of new tendencies and designs that entail a smaller environmental impact in the site where they are developed.
This way, the Environmental Architecture Integrates a range of concepts, environmental, material factors, methods and ideas that interact between them, for the profit of more ecological, efficient, economic projects architectonic and for a greater appeal to the society.
This architecture first forces to have a previous knowledge of the environmental variables of the site where the project will be located, between which the local landscape, the aesthetic and visual wind climate, ground, geology, vegetation, exhibition, humidity, shades and characteristics of the place are included.
Later it is made an analysis of the existing natural resources, flora, fauna, bodies of water, etc., laying the foundations for its handling and sustainable advantage. Finally it is culminated with the environmental design, which must guarantee that the constructions are integrated like part of the landscaping context of the zone.
The advanced concepts of Environmental Architecture that EcoRed handles, are integrated to the classic and regional styles, as well as to the present tendencies, and raise the optimization, functionality and comfort in the nears space and outer, in a frame of a sustainable advantage the resources and constructive processes of low environmental impact, including the one in addition use to technologies that diminishes the use of resources (electricity, light, heat, water, etc.), promoting the use of local materials and gardening with own species of the region. |
